The Skagit Wood Expo & Marketplace is a one-of-a-kind gathering for live milling, woodworking and wood carving demonstrations, a unique artisan marketplace with 50+ local vendors, a live wood auction, and fun for the whole family.

Free parking available on-site at the Fairgrounds.
Entry Information
Admission: $10 per person, $7 for seniors (65+) and students with ID, free for kids 12 and under.
Please note that no pets are allowed at the Fairgrounds (except for licensed service dogs).

FRIDAY PRE-PARTY | Friday doors at 5pm
Don’t miss out on a special Friday eve pre-event bash! An evening of great live music with Hot Damn Scandal and Orange Comfort, food + drinks, and other entertainment (FREE axe throwing!) -- all set around our unique wood & artisan crafts marketplace.
CIRCUS SHOW | Saturday 3 - 4pm
A family friendly show with a unique collection of circus artists from near and far. Don’t miss the rare opportunity to see the Guinness World Record holding chainsaw juggler Ian Stewart, who will perform his delightfully dangerous chainsaw tricks at this year’s wood expo circus show!
LIVE AUCTION | Sunday 1:30pm
This year’s live auction will feature slabs, materials, and a variety of handmade goods from our marketplace vendors. This is a great opportunity for craftspeople to get unique and affordable wood specimens from the Pacific Northwest. Auction items will be available for viewing and silent bidding prior to the live auction.
SUNDAY MORNING LINE DANCING | Sunday 11am - 1pm
Get some exercise or watch the fun! Join for line dancing with Kim Hargrove and friends on Sunday morning at the expo.
In partnership with Hospice of the Northwest Foundation
The Skagit Wood Expo and Marketplace continues to partner with Hospice of the Northwest Foundation, based in Mount Vernon, WA. This invaluable local organization receives part of our expo proceeds to help fund care and services for the hospice patients they serve.

Northwest Washington Woodturners
NWW provides education and social support for woodturners in the Northwest Washington region. Their primary goal is to provide a forum for turners of all skill levels to exchange knowledge, ideas, and information about safe woodturning.
Northwest Corner Woodworking Association
The Northwest Corner Woodworkers Association was formed to promote high standards in woodworking craftsmanship and education, and to showcase the work of local woodworkers.
Northwest Woodworking Association
The Northwest Woodworkers Association is a forum for woodworkers of all skill levels to share their common interests. Their members’ interests cover all aspects of woodworking including: carving, turning, furniture, cabinetry, marquetry, scroll work, and many others.
Live Woodcarving Demonstrations
Watch as artists Jimmy Kitchen (AK Woody) and Ben Zender create chainsaw sculptures during the event, learn about spoon carving with the Northern Shoveler, and more. Hand carved products will also be available in the marketplace.

There’s something for everyone! The diverse Marketplace at the Skagit Wood Expo features 50+ artisan vendors with high quality, handcrafted goods of all kinds.
The Marketplace will be open during all expo hours on Saturday and Sunday.
