SATURDAY BINGO BASH | Saturday
Join us for a fun-filled Bingo hosted by the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation! Free with your admission, grab one card per player and try your luck at winning one of 50 fantastic prizes.
CIRCUS SHOW | Saturday
A family friendly show with local circus performers! Our annual circus show is held indoors in the event’s pavilion building. Free with admission!
SATURDAY LINE DANCING | Saturday
Get some exercise or watch the fun! This free line dancing with Kim Hargrove and friends is sure to get you moving.
WOOD EXPO EGG HUNT | Sunday
Hop on over for our egg-citing hunt with 5,000 eggs hidden throughout the fairgrounds! Open to children 12 and under, this event is free with admission. Don't forget to bring your own bag or basket to collect your treasures. Keep a sharp eye out for one of 10 golden eggs containing extra special prizes!
LIVE WOOD AUCTION | Sunday
This year’s live auction will feature slabs, lumber, and other wood materials. This is a great opportunity for craftspeople to get unique and affordable wood specimens from the Pacific Northwest. Auction items will be available for viewing prior to the live auction.

The Skagit Wood Expo and Marketplace continues to partner with Hospice of the Northwest Foundation, based in Mount Vernon, WA. This invaluable local organization receives part of our expo proceeds to help fund care and services for the hospice patients they serve.

Woodworking and Carving Demonstrations
Demonstrations will be happening continuously throughout the weekend
Northwest Washington Woodturners
NWW provides education and social support for woodturners in the Northwest Washington region. Their primary goal is to provide a forum for turners of all skill levels to exchange knowledge, ideas, and information about safe woodturning.
Northwest Corner Woodworking Association
The Northwest Corner Woodworkers Association was formed to promote high standards in woodworking craftsmanship and education, and to showcase the work of local woodworkers.
Live Woodcarving and Other Interactive Demos
Chainsaw Carving Demos
Watch as artists such as Jimmy Kitchen (AK Woody) and world-renowned carver Steve Backus and friends create intricate chainsaw sculptures during the event. Throughout each day, the featured carvers will transform logs and wood pieces into works of art!
Duck Decoy Carving Demos
Skagit Master Decoy Carvers joins us this year to showcase this traditional American craft. Watch as they turn blocks of woods into lifelike duck decoys through a process that combines precision carving, artistic vision, and deep knowledge of waterfowl anatomy.
Create Your Own Cedar Birdhouse (Saturday 2pm)
Create your own birdhouse with craftsman David Bridgman, owner of Bow Hill Millworks, as he guides you through the process. This hands-on demo is perfect for both beginners and experienced woodworkers, and the whole family can join.
Wood Identification Scavenger Hunt
Walk through the expo to find and learn about various wood species. Whatcom Women in Timber, a nonprofit dedicated to sustainable forestry and education, will be running this scavenger hunt. Visit their booth to learn about sustainable forestry practices.

The Skagit Wood Expo and Marketplace is an event focused on showcasing locally sourced woodworking, lumber milling, and craftwork and the connections they form in our communities.
There’s something for everyone at this family-friendly event! In addition to live milling and woodworking demonstrations, the event also brings together over 50 local vendors (crafts, handmade goods, food products, and more), a live auction, and live entertainment including circus show with local performers.
